Scan In. Play. Your Scores Just Show Up.

Right now, using SimCap still means typing in your scores after a round. It works, but it's friction, and friction is exactly the kind of thing that makes people stop using an app after the novelty wears off.

We've been working on something that gets rid of that entirely. The idea: you walk up to the bay, scan a QR code, and everything loads automatically. No opening the app first, no typing your name in, no manually entering your score at the end. It's just there.

Where this actually matters is tournaments. If you've played in a simulator event, you know the annoying part isn't the golf, it's making sure everyone's scores get logged correctly so the leaderboard is right. Scan-in fixes that at the source. Everyone scans in, plays, and the sync happens in the background. No one's chasing down a group at hole 9 asking if they entered their score yet.

This is still in progress and connects into GS Pro Connect, so I'm not going to promise a ship date. But it's the first feature in SimCap that isn't me building something I'd want, it's us building something we saw as a real gap after using the app ourselves. That's a good sign for where this is headed.
